Views on nursing and midwifery sought

Service users, carers and members of the public interested in influencing nursing and midwifery education are being asked for their views on new pre-registration nursing education and the new curriculum being developed by Robert Gordon University and NHS Orkney.

The Orkney Public Partnership Forum is hosting an event at the St Magnus Centre in Kirkwall this evening, at 7pm, and is appealing for people to share their views.

The event is being led by Debbie Banks, programme leader for pre-registration nursing, and Colin MacDuff from the School of Nursing and Midwifery.

Participants will be able to influence and contribute to the development of key parts of the pre-registration nursing curriculum.
