‘Where I Am’ at the Pier Arts Centre
A series of films and events by three artists who have all received recognition through the Glasgow Film Festival/LUX Margaret Tait award begins tonight, Thursday.
Where I Am is a generative touring project, that takes its title from Margaret Tait’s experimental film work Where I Am Is Here (1964) and showcases the rich tradition of artists’ filmmaking in Scotland.
The programme begins with a workshop by Torsten Lauschmann tonight, Thursday. He will also present a film screening and talk tomorrow evening, Friday.
On Saturday, there will be a film screening by Florrie James, who will then lead a walking tour of Stromness at 4.30pm. Finally, at 7pm, there will be a film screening by Charlotte Prodger.
