Who will be crowned the strongest man in the Northern Isles?
The annual Northern Isles’ Strongest Man competition is set to be held in Kirkwall today.
A total of nine men, consisting of competitors from both Orkney and Shetland, are expected to take part. They will participate in a range of events including the arm-over-arm pull, dead lifts and the atlas stones.
Last year, Shetlander Dhanni Moar took the title with Paul Suggitt being crowned Orkney’s Strongest Man.
The action gets underway at the Orkney Riding Centre, from 1pm.
