Wildlife films get public screening
Four new films from RSPB Scotland, created to boost Orkney’s profile as a haven for nature and a world-class wildlife watching destination, are to be screened tonight in Stromness.
Capturing stunning wildlife footage across four seasons in Orkney, the films were made by award-winning wildlife cameraman, Raymond Besant, and acclaimed Stromness film editor, Mark Jenkins, with music composed by local musician James Watson.
All three will introduce their work and take questions from the audience at the public screening in the Stromness Town Hall which starts at 8pm.
Both the full-length film and three minute teaser versions, will be made available in the near future to help businesses, tourism websites and others, to promote Orkney’s natural heritage online.
