Win a tour of the Queen Elizabeth
Eight lucky people will get the chance to tour the Queen Elizabeth cruise ship, when it visits Orkney on July 7.
A competition is being run by Orkney Islands Council’s Marine services, giving four people the opportunity to win an exclusive guided tour, followed by lunch in the ship’s Brittania restaurant. Each competition winner will be also be able to take along one guest.
The Vista-class cruise liner is 294 metres long and can carry up to 2,092 passengers. The competition is being run in association with luxury cruise operator Cunard.
Michael Morrison is the Council’s Business Development Manager. He said: “This is a fantastic opportunity and I’m delighted that Cunard have agreed to sponsor it. The Queen Elizabeth is one of the most renowned and prestigious cruise ships in service and this will be quite an experience for our lucky competition winners.”
