Appeals for information

Some time over the past two months, the engine management computer was stolen from the boot of a 2003 Vauxhall Vectra.

The car was parked on private land near Sunnyside, St Ola.

Police suspect the device was stolen for use on a similar model of car and would like to hear from anyone who has seen it advertised for sale on any platform.

Meanwhile, police are appealing for any witnesses after a blue Ford Fiesta was damaged while parked outside the Orkney Hotel between 8pm on Thursday, September 29, and 2pm the following day.
