Council surface dressing plans

Orkney Islands Council will, weather permitting, be carrying out surface dressing and road marking operations in the following areas this week.

They are:

• A961, Honeysgeo – Grimness (South Ronaldsay)
• B9050, Newark – Skaill (Deerness)
• B9052, A961- Brig (Holm)
• A961, Holm Branch – Heathery Loan (Kirkwall)
• A964, 30mph- B9053 (Scapa)
• A965, Quoyholmslie – Roundabout (Stromness)
• A967, A965 – Deepdale Branch Road (Stromness)

Cars and light vehicles will be subject to diversions where possible, whilst buses and heavy goods will experience delays and speed restrictions.
