Diver search called off for the night

The search for the diver missing off South Ronaldsay has been called off for the night.
Three lifeboats, from Longhope, Stromness and Thurso, two Coastguard helicopters, and several other vessels were involved in the operation, as well as Coastguard teams on both sides of the Pentland Firth.
A spokesman for Stromness RNLI said: “We searched until after dark using spotlights and night vision scopes but having found nothing, the search was called off for the night at 22:45.”
