Dounby Show world record confirmed

A team of daredevil bikers that appeared at this year’s Dounby Show have announced that the world record they attempted whilst in the county has been officially recognised by Guinness World Records.

3Sixty Bicycle stunt team member Wayne Mahomet broke the world record for the highest vertical drop on a bike by jumping from a 4.1 metre high scaffolding platform at the show on Thursday, August 8. Wayne successfully completed the drop on his second attempt, staying on the bike and meeting other strict requirements of the record.

As there was no representative from Guinness present at the event the 3Sixty team recorded the event and then submitted the footage to the world records body for confirmation.
