Stromness and Rendall are both hoping to get their hands on the fabled Parish Cup.

Stromness and Rendall are set to compete in the 82nd Parish Cup Final tomorrow evening as one of the most eagerly anticipated sporting occasions takes place.

The first all-West Mainland final since 1998, Rendall are making their first ever final appearance, while Stromness are the reigning champions and looking for a Parish Cup double.

Both sides have had to battle their way to the showpiece, which seems likely to attract a large crowd from both parishes, as well as neutrals.

Rendall beat Stenness, Sandwick and Westray to reach the final, while Stromness saw off Birsay, St Ola and Holm.

The final is scheduled to kick-off at 6.45pm at the Pickaquoy Centre pitch.
