Final Curtain at the Arts Theatre

Eight local drama groups are to perform in the Orkney Arts Theatre tonight as part of the ‘Final Curtain’ show.

Mike Drever, one of the organisers of The Final Curtain, will also appear on stage.

Fifteen-minute sketches will be put-on by the Stromness Drama Club; Birsay Drama Club; the St Magnus Players; the Kirkwall Arts Club; the Palace Players; the Kirkwall Amateur Operatic Society; St Andrews Drama Club and Deerness Drama Club.

The performance is likely to be one of the last, if not the final show in the venue before the new Orkney Arts Theatre is opened as part of the new Kirkwall Grammar School facility.

The show is scheduled to begin at 7pm both nights.
