Health warning over missing medication

Police have advised that a large quantity of heart medication has been reported stolen.

It is believed the blister packs of pills, which are several different shapes and colours, went missing on Friday, March 7, from a mobility scooter in the foyer area of the Tesco supermarket.

A spokeswoman from Kirkwall Police Station said: “The medication went missing on Friday, although it was only reported to us today.

“This medication could be extremely hazardous to health if consumed inappropriately and we’d ask anybody who knows its whereabouts to contact us immediately on 101.”
