Husband and wife ministers ‘feel called to Orkney’
Matrimony is a large part of any minister’s role — but a husband and wife have shared how their decision to join the ministry led them to each other, and eventually to life in Orkney.
As well as sharing their lives together, Reverends Kerr Wintersgill and Moira Taylor-Wintersgill are joint ministers of the Milestone Church in Dounby and Stromness Parish Church.
“We both feel called to Orkney, and certainly don’t feel that we are going to be leaving it any time soon,” says Kerr.
In this Thursday’s edition of The Orcadian, read more about how the couple came together to work in Orkney, and how they are finding island life.
