Nursery praised by education inspectors
Children are motivated and excited about their learning at the Strynd Nursery, says a government inspection report published today.
The report on the joint inspection of the nursery by Education Scotland and the Care Inspectorate praises the work of the nursery, in particular the high-quality learning experiences provided in stimulating learning environments, positive links with the community and staff commitment.
Manager of the nursery, Fiona Greaves, said: “The Strynd has undergone a number of changes over the past six years. This inspection confirms that the changes which we have implemented through hard work and dedication have raised the standards of care and education which we provide at the Strynd Nursery, to ensure that all children attending are receiving the best possible learning opportunities and experiences.”
The report concludes by saying that inspectors are confident that the Strynd Nursery’s self-evaluation processes are leading to improvement, and recommends that the staff team continue with their very good work.
