Old Man of Hoy nominated as defining landmark

The Old Man of Hoy has been nominated in a campaign to identify the landmarks that define Britain in the 21st century.

The campaign, run by British Airways’ High Life and The Independent, is asking readers to submit their nominations for the top 21 landmarks at highlife.ba.com/21landmarks

The list of nominated landmarks will be put to a panel of experts from across Britain to determine the final 21, which will be published in the August issue of High Life.

The nominations close next Friday, May 15.
