Oliver opens at the Arts Theatre

The West End Theatre Group’s lavish production of Oliver gets under way in the Orkney Arts Theatre tonight, Friday.

The show, which runs until April 20, sees a cast of over 60 taking to the stage.

Co-directing the production are Louise Tait and Glen Ponsford.

Louise explained: “We have a brilliant cast, with John Ross Scott as Fagin, Harry Siderfin as the Artful Dodger, Gemma Harcus as Nancy and Thorfinn Moffat and Ryan Tait playing Oliver, on different nights.”

As in previous years, the West End Theatre Group will be using the show to raise money for local charities and also give the charities the opportunity to fundraise around the show.
