Week of disruption for South End motorists

Orkney Islands Council are advising that from Monday to Friday next week, there will be road closures in the south end of Stromness.

The closures are to allow water supply works to several properties.

The area affected is between Alfred Street and Ness Road and there will be no vehicular access of parking.

However, the road closure and parking restriction should only be in force during the working day, with the road being open overnight and parking also being available overnight.
