Police in Kirkwall are appealing for information regarding three incidents, thought to have taken place either at the end of last month or earlier this month.

Firstly, damage has been done to Groatie Hoose, in Tankerness Gardens, Kirkwall. According to police, a set of railings at the 18th century landmark were “pushed back” sometime toward the end of last month.

Also, a stone wall outside Copeland House, School Place, has been hit by a vehicle. Police think the incident took place at around 8.45pm on Tuesday this week.

Lastly, a garage door has been damaged in the car park at the rear of Boots chemists in Kirkwall. According to police, the damage was done sometime between Thursday, August 3, and Tuesday, this week, and it looks like a large vehicle has reversed into the door and then been driven away without details being left.
