Remanded in custody

A Kirkwall man has been remanded in custody and had his case continued without plea until October 26.

Appearing from custody this afternoon, Leslie Darren Norquoy, 39, whose address was given in court as Ingale, Kirkwall, was charged with assaulting two women and assaulting a police constable in the execution of his duty.

Honorary sheriff John Flett refused bail.
