St Ola and Holm thrash South Ronaldsay and Sandwick in Parish Cup
St Ola and Holm are virtually assured of Parish Cup progression, with two six goal thrashings of South Ronaldsay and Sandwick.
In what was predicted to be two close ties, that viewpoint was blown out of the water as St Ola and Holm ran riot.
Kyle Drever and Steven Tulloch got two goals each for 14-time winners St Ola in the day’s first match, while Ryan Walter got one and Jerry McBeth scored with his first touch.
Meanwhile, Steven Edwards was the hat-trick hero for Holm as they routed the Parish Cup’s most successful side, Sandwick in Dounby.
The visitors were 5-0 up at the break, with a double from Edwards and Ryan Mooney, after Michael Gullion had opened the scoring.
Edwards completed his hat-trick a few minutes from the end, heading in powerfully from a corner.
