Orkney Islands Council is planning to carry out essential road maintenance work in Victoria Street, Kirkwall, from Monday, January 9, to Friday, January 13.

Victoria Street will be open for pedestrians to use, but closed to traffic each day between 9.30am and 12 noon and from 1.30-3.30pm.

The council says it apologises in advance for any inconvenience this causes.
