Yacht back alongside Kirkwall Harbour

The yacht Makara is now tied up alongside Kirkwall Pier after being refloated with assistance from Kirkwall Lifeboat last night.

The lifeboat crew returned to the vessel, which had heavy swell running into it, and attached a tow line to the boat at Inganess Beach.

Once towed clear of the beach, the lifeboat then escorted the yacht back to the harbour.
