Fundraising climbers take on the Old Man of Hoy
A team of three climbers from the Scottish Mainland are to take on the Old Man of Hoy today as part of a fundraising challenge.
The iconic Orkney landmark will be the third sea stack in Scotland climbed in as many days by the all-female team of Natalie Feather, Vicki Mayes and Jennifer Rogers, who live in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
With the aid of a support team, the team climbed Am Buachaille in North West Scotland on Thursday and the Old Man of Stoer, near Lochinver on Friday.
The group have undertaken the challenge with the goal of raising £3000 for the charity Urban Uprising, which helps helps youths from disadvantaged areas in Scotland.
