Hockey team proceed to final

Orkney’s hockey team have booked their place in the final of the Scottish District Cup, following victory in Aberdeen this morning.

Orkney beat East Kilbride ‘A’ 3-1, with the goals coming from Hannah Cromarty and Charlotte Thomson, who scored twice.

Orkney will take on either Shetland or MCC Western IV in the final, due to be held in Edinburgh on Saturday, May 4.
