Isles unite against ‘life-threatening’ healthcare change

Chairmen and women from ten isles community councils have penned an open letter to NHS Orkney, urging the authority to reconsider plans to scrap the current out-of-hours system.

NHS Orkney has defended the move, which it says will “increase resilience” in the isles.
