Kirkwall United close in on ‘B’ League title

Kirkwall United are just one match away from winning the Streamline ‘B’ League, following their 2-1 win in South Ronaldsay last night.

The Kirkwall side are now top of the league on goal difference, and can win the title, and promotion to the ‘A’ League, with victory in their home match against Firth, on Friday evening.

Second-placed South Ronaldsay, who face Deerness on Friday, can also win the ‘B’ League, but would have to rely on Kirkwall United dropping points at Pickaquoy.
