Orkney hoping to reach another District Cup final

Orkney’s Senior Ladies’ hockey side are due to resume their Scottish District Cup campaign on Sunday with the side set to face Dunfermline Carnegie Ladies 1s for a place in the final.

Orkney thumped Granite City Wanderers Ladies 11-0 back in November to reach the semi-final stage where they will take on Dunfermline, a side they have never met before. The islanders will go into the match full of confidence and hopeful that they can reach another final of a competition they won in 2013 and 2010.

Pass back is due to take place at 12 noon at Aberdeen Sports Village.
