Orkney RFC face daunting trip to unbeaten league leaders
Orkney RFC face an away trip to unbeaten league leaders GHK as they look to continue their good form in BT National League Division 3. It looks set to be a daunting task for the islanders as GHK have a 100% win record this season — winning ten out of ten — and are unbeaten in 29 league games — a run stretching back to April 12, 2014.
GHK beat Orkney at Pickaquoy in September and are overwhelming favourites to win Division 3 being two points clear of Dumfries Saints with three games in hand.
Orkney, whose match against Dalziel was cancelled last weekend, have put three consecutive wins together and sit sixth in the league. However with some excellent performances recently, they will head into game quietly confident of springing a surprise against the Glasgow side
The game is due to kick-off at 1pm at Old Anniesland, Glasgow.
