Eighth e.coli case under investigation

NHS Orkney and Orkney Islands Council are looking into a further case of e.coli, which brings the total being investigated to eight.

According to NHS Orkney the eighth case has been identified through the investigation process, and did not become ill recently.

The number of confirmed cases in this cluster remains at six. One confirmed case remains in hospital.
