Additional cruise ship due on Saturday

Due to an itinerary change, the Holland America cruise ship Prinsendam, with 800 passengers on board, will make an unscheduled call to Hatston on Saturday.

This is not the first time this ship has called to Kirkwall, as the Prinsendam and her sister ship Eurodam are regular visitors to Orkney.

A range of shore excursions have been arranged, and Kirkwall town centre is due to have yet another busy day with passengers.

The liner is due to arrive alongside Hatston at 9am and will sail at 6pm.
