Bews and Sutherland send Orkney on the road to victory
Orkney FC remain three points behind Invergordon at the summit of the North Caledonian League after winning 2-0 away to Golspie Sutherland.
An early Erik Bews header and a Damien Sutherland strike sealed the victory, meaning that Orkney, coupled with Invergordon’s 3-1 victory against Inverness Athletic, remain second after ten games on 22 points.
Orkney’s next scheduled match is a mouth-watering Jock Mackay Cup home clash versus Northern Isles rivals Shetland on Saturday, February 18.
