Body found in Rousay after missing person search

The body of a man has been found in Rousay, after a search was carried out for a missing 80-year-old man.

James Scott had been reported missing in Rousay. Police found the body of a man, yesterday afternoon, Tuesday, July 16.

While the man is still to be formally identified, the next of kin of James Scott have been informed.

Police say there are no apparent suspicious circumstances and, as is standard with all sudden deaths, a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
