Celebrating the Hoy Heritage project

The Hoy Kirk will be celebrating the culmination of the last two years of the Crofts and Creels heritage project, with a “Hoy Foy” this evening, Friday, from 7pm.

Friends of Hoy Kirk invite everyone to come and enjoy an entertaining evening of all things Hoy.

A packed programme will make the most of the material that has been gathered by the community, with music, song, poetry, film and folklore.

The Hoy Kirk will welcome the Song Shop Choir singing Hoy’s Dark and Lofty Isle, John Budge singing Rackwick Bay, as well as music and song there will be poetry and folklore, newspaper clippings and stories.
