Contrasting fortunes for Orkney sides

There were contrasting fortunes for Orkney’s senior rugby and football sides.

Orkney RFC lost out to Hillhead Jordanhill in Glasgow, 31-12 — a huge blow in their attempts to remain in the national set-up.

Orkney FC meanwhile, having lost their league title last weekend, routed Bunillidh Thistle 11-0 in a double-header in Thurso.
