Fundraising poll to decided school manager’s Children In Need attire

Papdale Primary School fundraising for Children In Need this year with an online poll to decide what costume school manager Mr Balfour should wear.

As schoolchildren across the county gear up for the annual Children In Need fundraising activities, Papdale Primary School has a special plan in store for its business manager.

Pupils have launched an online poll to decide what costume Kevin Balfour should wear next Friday, November 19.
You can now cast your vote in by donating to the online fundraiser which matches your choice of outfit, with three costumes to choose from.
Option A – A Leeds United Kit (Mr Balfour is a huge Leeds fan)
Option B – A Giraffe Costume (They’re both tall)
Option C – Ballerina Costume (Why Not!)
It’s not “tutu” difficult to figure out which one is in the lead at the moment, but you may want to change that.
Do you think the Whites are alright? Does the thought of a Giraffe make you laugh? Or are you partial to a pink fluffy tutu and ballet pumps?

Depute head teacher, Michele Dufort, said: “This year the children in P7 came up with the idea to raise funds by pledging money to see Mr Balfour, our retiring Business Manager, in a fancy dress costume of your choice for his last Children in Need Day. We are encouraging the whole Papdale community to help us raise money for Children in Need by pledging your votes for one of three different costume options.

“The page that raises the most money by 5pm on Thursday 18 November will be the costume Mr Balfour must wear. We have already received around £300 in donations which is fantastic and we thank you for that.”

Mr Balfour a lifelong Leeds United fan, has even contacted the Yorkshire Evening Post to ask for their help in publicising the fundraiser and, more importantly for him, to attract votes for option A! There’s only one way to make sure he adorns the outfit you want.
