Gun Viewpoint fundraising fun day

The Gun Viewpoint Development Group is holding a fun day in Stromness today, Saturday.

Weather permitting some local bairns will be marching from the Stromness ferry terminal to the Market Green at 12.30pm, with the Stromness Pipe Band.

There will be lots to keep the youngsters amused from a bouncy castle, to face painting, wheel of fortune and various other activities. If it is bad weather the event will take place in the Stromness Community Centre.

Made up of parents, the group has gained permission to use the land at the Gun Viewpoint in Stromness for a family area, to include a play area and picnic area.

The fun day is part of ongoing activities to raise funds for the project.
