Agricultural Service Technician

Due to increased workload and sales of tractors and machinery, an opportunity has arisen to join our busy service department working with leading manufacturers such as John Deere and Kramer.

Experience require

• Knowledge of tractors and agricultural machinery an advantage although
training will be provided.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to use standard computer applications and internet functions.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Full driving licence.
• Good admin skills for keeping paperwork up-to-date and recording jobs.
• Good customer relationship skills.

Job duties

• Perform servicing, diagnostics and repairs on tractors and agricultural
machinery in the workshop, on farm and remotely through industry
leading diagnostic systems.
• Perform pre-delivery setup on new or used equipment.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest manufacturer training, online and in
person.
• Completion of job related administration such as job cards, time sheets,
pre-delivery paperwork etc.
• Help maintain the cleanliness of the workshop, vans and tools within the
business.

Hours of work

• Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (full-time preferred although part-time
considered).
• Flexible overtime to suit business demands at nights and weekends
during busy periods.
