Netballer to represent Scotland at World Youth Cup

An Orkney netballer has been selected to represent her country at the World Youth Cup, the pinnacle of under-21 competition.

Sarah MacPhail, from Kirkwall, has been named in the 12-player Scotland squad which will play on the world stage at the Botswana tournament in July

MacPhail and her Scotland teammates will play Sri Lanka, New Zealand, Samoa and Northern Ireland in the group stages.

Twenty countries will compete in the nine-day competition, beginning on July 8.
