Orkney FC make history in 12-goal demolition

Orkney FC racked up their biggest ever win, putting 12 goals past a poor Inverness Athletic side in the Jock Mackay Cup.
Orkney will now meet Halkirk United in the semi-finals in two weeks time.
As the 12-1 scoreline suggests, it was complete domination from the home side, while the visitors simply offered feeble resistance against waves of attack.
Orkney were six up at the break courtesy of a double from winger Joe Wilson, and further strikes from Kyle Drever, Thorfinn Stout, Mark Berry and Orkney Brewery Man of the Match Sam Hunter.
Thorfinn Stout grabbed his hat-trick in the second-half with two goals, while Berry got his second. Goals from Jamie Flett, Craig Gillon and a last-gasp Chris Hellewell strike completed the rout.
Inverness scored a consolation from the half-way line.
