Police appeal for information

Kirkwall Police are appealing for information on the following incidents.

• Between 7.30pm, on July 7, and 7am, on July 8, a Vauxhall Vectra motor car was damaged while parked in the Weyland Bay area of Kirkwall.  According to police the rear of the vehicle was vandalised.

• About 12.30am, on July 6, an altercation between two males took place at Stenness Loch behind a hotel. The incident is believed to have started at or near some garages and continued into the loch itself. Both were then seen leaving the area.

• About 11.30pm, on July 6, a turquoise Peugeot 5008 was damaged while parked at the Albert Street car park in Kirkwall.  According to police the damage appears to have been caused by another vehicle.

• Between June 1 and 23 a quantity of heating fuel was removed from an address in the Hillside Road area of Birsay.
