Road now open following investigations

Police say that the A967 road near Stromness is now open, following the conclusion of investigations at the scene of the accident in which a man was seriously injured last night.

A police spokesman added: “We are still keen to hear from any witnesses to events yesterday evening. Contact 101 to provide information.”
