Specsavers services to resume

Specsavers is expected to arrive in Orkney in May, after NHS Orkney moved to ease residents’ concerns and refute that the health board was preventing optometry appointments from taking place.

Interim chief executive Michael Dickson expressed his disappointment surrounding the messaging that has enveloped the situation — and says that he expects services to return next month.
