Young Farmers finish north area tractor run in Kirkwall
A fundraising vintage tractor run, which started in Laurencekirk on Thursday, reached its finishing point today in Kirkwall.
The tractor run was organised by the Young Farmers clubs in the north region and the aim has been raise money for the Scottish Association of Young Farmers, the young farmer’s mental health campaign Are Ewe Okay? and Northsound Cash for Kids.
Members from each of the young farmers clubs in the north region have taken turns driving a vintage tractor in a relay over 300 miles in length.
The final leg of the trip was driven today, Sunday, in Orkney and saw the young farmers set off from St Margaret’s Hope this morning, reaching Kirkwall just after 1pm.
