Youth Bowl Final success for Orkney and Caithness

Orkney and Caithness Under 18 rugby side secured a historic victory this afternoon as they beat Dundee Eagles in the Under 18 Youth Bowl Final at Murrayfield.

Orkney and Caithness opened the scoring in the match before Dundee hit back but Orkney soon exerted their control on the match to run out 12-21 winners.

Orkney’s captain, Sam Croy was also named as the Man of the Match.

It caps off what has been a fantastic weekend for Orkney rugby after the senior side beat Perthshire yesterday.
