Baton runners – full list released

The names of the people running with the Queen’s Baton when it comes to Orkney have been released.

The Glasgow 2014 Queens Baton Relay comes to Orkney on July 10 and July 11 and will be run through Stromness, Dounby, Finstown, Kirkwall, St Mary’s and St Margaret’s Hope by 72 local runners.

Each of them was nominated by the public for the contribution they’ve made to the community.
