Calling green-fingered Stromnessians

There will be an informal meeting in Stromness next Wednesday to share ideas and discuss the potential for a new allotment/community garden in the town.

This includes the possibility of securing land, creating plots and even a polytunnel. The meeting will include some background to what has been done so far, information on similar projects, and a selection of locally produced foods to try.

The meeting, in the Stromness Community Centre, is at 7pm on Wednesday, July 27.
