Cliff rescue in Holm

The emergency services were called to cliffs at Roseness in Holm this afternoon, Sunday, after a man was injured following a fall.
Kirkwall Lifeboat was launched and Coastguard teams headed to the area, shortly before 2pm.
The Coastguard rescue helicopter was also alerted, and airlifted the casualty to Kirkwall Airport, after winching him from the scene.
An ambulance then transferred him to the Balfour Hospital from the airport.
