Councillors consider winter timetable

At yesterday’s meeting of the OIC’s development and infrastructure committee, councillors noted the proposed timetables for Orkney Ferries during winter 2013/14.

An alternative timetable for the outer North Isles has been presented as part of the winter schedule and comes in response to complaints received regarding the arrival times of some ferries.

The refit timetables, which saw a raft of complaints earlier this year, will be discussed further by the ferry services consultative committee.
