Cromarty Hall hosts second annual book festival
According to the organisers, the second annual Cromarty Hall Book Festival, in St Margaret’s Hope this weekend, is shaping up to be absolutely packed with interesting talks and activities for all ages.
With many local writers and groups having stands, there will be plenty of opportunity to chat to them about their work, to see and buy new locally produced books, and even get them signed.
All the entries to the 2012 Words and Pictures competition will be on display throughout the weekend, and the prizes will be presented in the main hall at 12.30pm on Sunday.
There will also be a huge used-book sale with hundreds of fiction and non-fiction books, including many vintage books for adults and children.
The book festival runs on Saturday and Sunday in the Cromarty Hall. All talks and reading sessions are free to attend; all events and talks are open to everyone
