Draft Copland’s Dock Brief Published

A development brief for Copland’s Dock will go out for an eight-week period of consultation from today, Thursday July 4.

Orkney Islands Council say that this extended period is designed to give people plenty of time to contribute to the consultation over the summer period.

The draft development brief was informed by an earlier consultation event held by Orkney Islands Council in Stromness in February this year.

The document will be accessible from the Orkney Local Development Plan section of the Council’s website www.orkney.gov.uk from July 4 onwards. Reference copies will also be made available at OIC customer services in Kirkwall and Stromness, the Kirkwall Library, Stromness Library and the Mobile Library Vans.

The consultation period is due to end on August 29, 2013.
